Designed by Sleep Experts, Engineered for Optimal Sleep
*[New layers in Plush Comfort 2.0!]
① [NEW!] Natural Breeze Tencel™ 🍃
A luxurious fabric made with sustainably-sourced wood pulp. It has a soft butter texture that feels like silk against your skin, and is incredibly cooling to the touch.
➁ Premium Australian Wool 🍃
We source premium Australian wool from local farms for its extreme softness and moisture-wicking properties.
➂ [NEW!] Bamboo-Infused Memory Foam 🍃
We improved traditional Memory Foam by infusing it with bamboo particles. This open-cell technology has the benefit of providing the support of memory foam, and the cooling factor of bamboo.
➃ Proprietary HexaGrid™ 🍃
We used a specialized blend of polymers and cooling gels, and engineered the specific textures on our Hexagrid™ layer to maximize the support and breathability for all our mattresses.
➄ Motion-Isolation High Density Foam
Our deepest foam layer focuses on providing added stability and motion-isolation, to ensure you get an undisturbed sleep through the night
➅ 7-Zone Antigravity Springs 🍃
We call them Antigravity because they are firm enough to provide support in the deeper layers of the mattress, but flexible enough for relief of major problem zones of discomfort, such as the head, neck, shoulders, back and legs. To make sure they provide long lasting comfort, we've made them with titanium used in the aerospace industry!
➆ [NEW!] D-2 Edge Support
To hold all the mattress layers together, we use a High-Density Foam that is twice as dense as the industry's average. This means you can sit comfortably on the edge of your bed without experiencing that dreaded mattress sag.
Our mattress materials have been independently-tested in third party labs and are certified by CertiPUR-US®. All our products are made “without mercury, lead and heavy metals, ozone depleters, formaldehyde, VOCs, phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission”.

Premium
Handcrafted
Pillowtop
The top cover is handcrafted with the NEW Natural Breeze Tencel™ fiber – so soft that you might find yourself stroking it absent mindedly in bed. Which is why we made it pilling-resistant.
Minimal
Motion Transfer
Even if you sleep with your partner, children or pets – our NEW Bamboo-infused Memory Foam and Motion Isolation Foam means their tossing and turning won’t disturb your much-needed sleep!
No Sagging Edges
The NEW D-2 Edge Support means our mattresses have sturdy and durable edges, giving you and your partner a bigger surface to sleep on, and making it easier to get in and out of bed.
Comfort Without
The Mark-ups

Learn more about the HEXAGRID™ and its unique properties
What is the HexaGrid™ Orthopedic Layer?
The HexaGrid™ Orthopedic Layer is the signature layer in our mattresses. It was developed over thousands of hours of research to achieve the goldilock zone for pressure comfort & comfort, enhanced back support and temperature regulation. It is approved by sleep experts worldwide for its ability to provide a top-quality sleep experience.
Is the HexaGrid™ Orthopedic Layer soft or firm?
Trick question - it's both!
The HexaGrid™ Orthopedic Layer is divided into 3 thirds. The flat midsection is firmer to offer your back extra support to keep it strong and healthy; and the ends are softer to offer soothing comfort to the legs and shoulder.
Furthermore, the layer is made of with a patent-pending, uniquely adaptable blend. It conforms to your body, knowing where to apply soft comfort and where to provide firmer support. Making Origin Mattresses feel different, and your sleep better.
How does the Origin Hybrid regulate temperature?
The plush handcrafted pillow top is covered in a cooling Tencel™ cloth which is highly breathable, allowing airflow to transfer body heat to the HexaGrid™ Orthopedic Layer below,
And then that's when the temperature regulation kicks in.
When your body is warm, the HexaGrid™ layer will expand, promoting airflow to cool you down
And when you're cool, the HexaGrid™ layer contracts, trapping heat and keeping you warm.
Both layers work in synergy to keep you at the ideal temperature for that deep sleep we all love so much.
And every other layer in the mattress works together with the HexaGrid to help regulate temperature™, from the premium Australian Wool to the Bamboo-Infused Memory Foam.

Other Questions
What type of bedframe do you recommend?
Any flat bedframe will work well with the Origin Mattress (slats too). You can even use it on the floor if you like! However we don't recommend using the mattress with an adjustable bed base as it might damage the comfort pocket springs in the long run.
